Speaking + Community Education

As a speaker and consultant, I offer workshops and presentations on anxiety, stress management, perfectionism, healthy relationships, boundaries, and emotional wellbeing. I collaborate with Universities, student organizations, and local groups to bring engaging, strengths-based mental health education to their communities.

I have dedicated my career to supporting young adults just like you! Everything about my practice was made with you in mind, from the members of our team to the music that we play to where our office is located. Navigating the ups and downs of young adulthood can be so exciting, but also downright scary and confusing at times. You probably hear people tell you these are the “best years of your life”, and then wonder why you find yourself feeling worried and overwhelmed all the time.  As they say, the struggle is REAL!

No matter what you do, it may not feel like enough, and anxiety and doubt follow you from one day to the next. I'm here to help you break this cycle, find peace, and embrace a sense of true accomplishment and self-worth. I am prepared to help you get plugged in to the opportunities, relationships and experiences that will satisfy and motivate you! We will come up with realistic and practical solutions to get you moving into adulthood with confidence.

I think the absolute hardest part of this process is coming to your first appointment...almost everyone feels at least a little nervous. Part of the reason therapy works is because we can get past the part of you that you don't want anyone to see. We turn that light on inside so things no longer feel so big, scary or confusing. I find that once all the “stuff” is out on the table, we can move forward in a significant, authentic and purposeful way (that isn’t dreadfully painful.)

So here is me, extending a warm invitation for us to simply begin.

I started Southern Solace over 10 years ago and am so proud of our team and the opportunity we have to serve the Clemson community. We have seen thousands of clients find peace and create a life they are proud of. Many thanks for placing your trust in Southern Solace and we are here when you are ready!
